As Paper Engineers we take a keen interest in the narrative of each project to make sure the animations flow in just the right places.
We are passionate about this art form and have spent many years delighting readers with fun pop-ups, as you can see from the portfolio of projects we have been involved in.
It’s not just about the design though. Pop Up books are printed, cut and assembled by machines with a huge amount of additional hand-labour. Each Pop-Up needs to be designed with the manufacturing process in mind, and we call this ‘Design for Manufacture’. Each project is approached with experience and a deep understanding of the way a Pop-Up book is produced, so we can ensure the book looks fantastic and is as economical as possible to produce, whether you want five copies or five thousand.
